关于RIPN号煮米的操作方法，其实根本无任何技术含量。尽管每个人的操作方法各有所不同，但其最终的目的是完全一致的，即加快提交域名申请的速度和频率，在短暂的最佳煮米时间段内抢得先机。
domain (Domain Name)：填写域名，选择域名后缀
descr (Domain description)：填写域名描述
comp-d (Domain description for RIPN, required for third-level domains only)：填写域名描述
nserver (Name Servers information)：填写域名服务器信息，即DNS域名解析NS服务器 (注：每行只能填写一个NS服务器)
资料填好以后，用鼠标点击提交申请的按钮Register Domain Name，然后点击对话框中的“确定”，之后将鼠标移至浏览器上方的“后退”按钮上点击后退，页面返回后迅速连续敲击键盘上的空格键二下，如此重复搡作，直到出现提交出错提示为止。
提交出错提示：
Errors in form
Unprocessed request for domain ‘XXXX.XXX.RU’ already present in waiting queue - FATAL ERROR!
There are FATAL ERRORS in request, object is not processed.
出现上面的提示表示您提交的域名申请成功,，如果域名DNS解析正确，一般等待5~6个小时域名即可生效。

申请.RU域名时如果DNS填写错误或域名DNS解析错误，在RIPN的NS检测时就会出现检测错误。如果不加予更正，RIPN会连续3天自动以每3小时一封信的速度警告，信是系统自动回复的：

其实您只要用您注册RIPN 帐号时用的邮箱，发信到：ru-dns@ripn.net，用发邮件形式更改DNS。邮件一定要用纯文本格式，西欧编码，按下面的格式发一封信就可以了，这封信是机器自动识别的：

大家都知道俄罗斯.COM.RU后缀的域名早己停止FREE申请，而.NET.RU后缀的域名，RIPN官方的发放也作出了限制，即每小时全球只放出4个名额，因此选择把握好最佳时间段抢煮尤其重要，经反复测试，下列时间段煮米成功率极高：

以北京时间为准：
第一最佳煮米时间段：
每小时00:11始~00:13止

第二最佳煮米时间段：
每小时00:26始~00:28止

第三最佳煮米时间段：
每小时00:46始~00:48止

第四最佳煮米时间段：
每小时00:56始~00:58止

由于地域时差的原因，4个最佳煮米时间段前后误差1分钟。.ORG.RU和.PP.RU后缀的域名虽然目前RIPN官方尚未公示己作出名额限制，但经测试并非任意时间段都可以提交成功，因此建议煮米时间段参照.NET.RU后缀域名的最佳煮米时间段提交申请，成功率同样极高。
